I have insanely thick hair. It isn’t curly and think, or straight and thick, it is kind of wavy and thick. My hair dresser started charging me for an adult cut when I was about 6 because of just how thick my hair was. Even after 3 kids, I still have insanely thick hair. If you have curly hair, at night you could pull it back into a loose ponytail. That helps to contain the curls so they don’t get tossed around all night
