  1. My Grams has always been my biggest inspiration for cooking. She always made our time in the kitchen so special & memorable. She’s given me a peice of my family’s history by sharing recipes & stories when she learned our food. she still to this day will call me when she finds a new recipe or a great lil restaurant. Some of the best memories of my life <3

  2. My daddy was my favorite cook….he was in the coast guard and in charge of feeding a bunch of hungry men so he really had to be creative and that he was! I learned alot from him.

    the only one I remember is my grandma and I didn’t see her often, but memories of those visits are all wrapped up in the good food she made – she always had fresh green beans from her garden, fresh rolls, cherry pie after my brother & I picked the cherries for her – and her famous chocolate chip cookies!

    The best cook I know was my Grandma—Oh My Gosh–could she put on a feast, at every meal.There was always some kind of great smells coming out of that kitchen, even foods you would naturally hate as a kids would always be the best in the world,like butter melting in your mouth. If I had only had more time with her,to learn some of her tricks. I sure miss her and all the great foods,what wonderful memories,I can still taste all the wonderful things she would make.

  3. Two Grandma (my mom’s mom) was the person who taught me the most about cooking. I was the oldest grandchild and our family lived the closest less than a mile away so I spent a lot of time there and learned a lot from her.

    My favorite cook is my grandmother. When i was younger she use to make my favorite meal whenever i went to visit her in Dominican Republic. 22 years later shes still spoiling me with dishes and amazing desserts.

  4. My favorite cook was my Grandma. She was a farmer’s wife who was used to cooking for a full crew of farmhands on a regular basis. She made the BEST cookies and angel food cakes. And her chicken and noodles (made with egg noodles from scratch) were hard to beat too.

    My Mom & Her Mom, were the best cooks ever!!! My sister & I learned so
    much from both of them!!! My Mom taught us Italian cooking & she & her Mom taught us how to bake & we also can now make the best Thanksgiving dressing ever!!!

  7. My dad did most of the cooking in my family and it was always delicious. It was usually nothing fancy, but a lot of comfort foods. He actually just came up to visit me last weekend and made me corned beef and cabbage!

  8. my mom is my favorite cook she knows what everone likes and cooks it for them either daily or on their birthday, everyone braggs on her cooking and her for the person she is. but she is my favorite and she can cook dirt and make it taste like steak
